Get the Butter Ready: You Can Now Rent Julia Child’s French Cottage (and Cook in Her Kitchen!)

Prepare yourselves, Julia Child superfans.

If you have her iconic voice down pat (“Save the liver!”) and already worked your way through Mastering the Art of French Cooking á la Julie & Julia, get ready, because you can now cook her perfect boeuf bourguignon from the comforts of Child’s old French cottage in Cote d’Azur.

The home went up for sale in December for $880,000, and was quickly snapped up by Colorado-based couple Evie and Makenna Johnston. And now the pair is offering two options for those who want to live life like Julia and Paul—people can rent the Provencal cottage on Airbnb, or reserve a spot in the weekly cooking retreats the Johnstons are starting in April 2017.

The home, which the Childs nicknamed “La Pitchoune,” (The Little Thing) or “La Peetch” for short, previously operated as a cooking school in the 1990’s, which is what the Johnstons hope to bring back to life.“La Peetch will return to her roots in 2016 as a center for culture, food, and community,” they say on the website. “Pitchouners, as they have been called for decades, return year after year. They are drawn by the magic of the countryside, the good company, and of course…the wine.”

Unfortunately, the all-inclusive experience doesn’t come cheap. Each week-long session—which includes four cooking classes in Julia’s kitchen (pegboards and all!), breakfast and lunch, local excursions, wine, and yoga classes—will run you a cool $2,950.

The slightly cheaper option is to rent the three-bedroom house through Airbnb. Though the minimum five-night stay rings up to the same price, you can split it six ways with five of your closest friends.

And if you’re having trouble choosing who should come, a Julia Child recipe battle sounds like the perfect solution. Bon appétit!
