A contemporary Danish kitchen and deli just opened in London. Snaps and Rye is a local initiative from Notting Hill-based couple Kell and Jacqueline Skött.
The café is perfectly located on Golborne Road, a buzzing spot on the north edge of the famous Portobello market. The menu is filled with Danish delights, with staples including house-cured herring and meatballs (naturally). The culinary experience has the Nordic interiors to match, too. Designed by the Skötts, it is a bright space with pine floors and solid oak counters with signature design classics such as Louis Poulsen PH 1950s lamps.
